I was pretty shocked last night as I was watching American Idol and saw my cousin talking about her son. I was like, "Oh my heck, that is Jamie!" I haven't seen her since our Kissin' Kousin's reunion in 2002 when she looked a lot different but I recognized her right away. Her son, Kai, auditioned and talked about how he takes care of her during the day because she is sick and then does his music at night. It was a pretty emotional and touching segment. (see above) It was so cool to see them and I thought Kai did a really good job. Hopefully he will go far so we can watch him and see Jamie more.
